Generic Office - SmartArt (Part 3 of 4)


In part 3 of this 4 part series, we take a look at creating a simple SmartArt diagram. The diagrammatic function exists in most of the Microsoft programmes.

Step 1,

Open Microsoft Word

Step 2,

Select Insert, SmartArt

Step 3,

Select the Process category and double click the Basic Process diagram (should be the first in the list).

Step 4

Click in first shape and type "Create". Type "Sell" and "Deliver" in the next two shapes.

Note: Don't include the quotation marks when typing. Close the "Type your text here" box If it appears to the left of your shapes.

Step 5,

Select a SmartArt style from the SmartArt tools design ribbon.

Step 6,

Enhance your diagram by selecting additional tools from both the SmartArt tools design and format ribbons.
